So you think you will dance? And they make a nice photo portfolio of you. They promised that you become a dancer or singer or even a model.
Sometimes things are not what they seem. Men, women and children are trafficked – tricked, forced and exploited in the sex industry.
Hundreds of thousands of young women have vanished from their everyday lives, forced by violence into a hellish existence of brutality and prostitution. They are a profitable commodity in the multi-billion dollar industry of modern slavery. It is called “human trafficking“.
And it happens in the Philippines too. Many girls going abroad this way is never heard of anymore. And their families do not talk about it because of shame…
An Awareness campaign created by Duval Guillaume Modem and produced by Monodot in support of the “STOP THE TRAFFIK” recently has started by placing a video on YouTube.
The scene is a few ‘windows’ in the famous red light district in Amsterdam ‘De Wallen”. Watch the movie until the end, and send this message to all women and girls you know, so they will be aware of this.
Check the movie here, and put the sound on.
