transport of workers

During rush hour you can see some trucks loaded with people in their working clothes. Usually they are contractor trucks bringing their workers to the site or bringing them home in the afternoon. In Europe or America you will not see this, but in countries like the Philippines it is a normal view.
Also delivery trucks sometimes have their employees sitting in the back or on top of the truck. Delivery trucks with fruits, drinks and other stuff. I have collected some pictures to show you here.

Some good pictures. Yes in a lot of places in the US they would get a ticket for riding that way. Since most don’t have their own transportation that is often the only reliable way to get them there I would guess.

It’s a way of life in the Philippines.
This way people do not have to pay for fares to go to their work place. And employers who are bringing them on a truck are sure that they all arive the same time, so the work can be done in time.

Also you know they are unlikely to leave early. :)
