Rainy season starts

The wet season in the Philippines has started. Every day there is some rain or thunderstorms. During the day it is very humid. Humidity is 85% and more daily.
Temperatures during the day went down from 36-37 C to about 30 C now. I feel much better with these temperatures.
Night temperatures have also been falling down to a little above 20 C. It is also easier to sleep now.

Heavy perspiring + electric fan + aircon = a cold.
Runny nose, heavy coughing and head ache are just a few symptoms. Lucky I am recovering now so you will get new posting soon.

Sorry to hear about your cold hope it is better soon. They need the rain for sure. It should ease the power situation also since they can run the hydroelectric generators again.

      Hi Tom,
Yeah, I feel much better already.
Rain is needed (and expected here from May to September) for agricultural and home use. The levels in the basins are normal again, so there will be no shortage as was expected earlier, at least not in Manila region.

Hope you get to feeling better soon! One day I will experience the rainy season in the Philippines.

I know it can be restrictive (getting around). I guess you need to be in a place where there is no flooding.

      Hi Randall,
Rainy season is from May to September, and the typhoon season is most active in the second half of this period.
For sure you will be experiencing it, just take your time. I wish you all the best.

    Hello Randall,
True enough the rainy season has arrived. But it usually rains only in the afternoon and rarely in the morning, making it the perfect time to play golf.
