santa_and_us_1HO HO HO, a Santa yelled at Glorietta in Makati last Sunday November 13 while on TV Manny Pacquiao was fighting against Marquez.

Flor and I, but also our British friend Peter and his wife Rebecca didn’t want to watch the boxing so we went out and ended in Glorietta Mall in Makati.

santa_and_us_2I was in a good mood and replied immediately by raising my hand towards him from about 5 or 6 meters distance and repeated his HO HO HO almost the same way he said it. People who know me, know that sometimes I do that kind of things, just to laugh and have fun.
Santa approached me and we hugged laughing about what happened. Unfortunately from that little moment there are no pictures but I can assure you it was hilarious. Some other people who were in the Mall and nearby find it also funny and some of them take pictures of us when we were posing with Santa.

When we were talking to him it was clear to me that he was not a 100% Filipino Santa, he had a more caucasian nose and his English was without Filipino accent. When I asked him where he was from he didn’t want to reveal his nationality other than that he was from the North Pole. Although I was in the mood to make more fun with this Santa I also thought of the few children who were around so I didn’t go on.
After the picture-taking we went on and had a nice lunch in the mall at Sbarro, a restaurant that serves Italian cuisine. Their pizza’s are the best I have tasted so far in the Philippines and at very reasonable prizes. But they also serve pasta meals and some salads.
