While in a shopping mall in the Philippines recently I have spotted many female looking creatures. I decided to take pictures of them and publish the pictures here for your and my amusement.
It could be that you are disappointed in seeing these pictures, probably you were searching the internet for pictures of beautiful Philippinas. In that case I have reached my goal: attract viewers who are usually not visiting my site.

Jan, I was wondering if you get any strange looks from people as I do when I click away and start taking photos in the department stores in the Philippines? I get strange looks even when I’m not snapping pics!

Maybe because of my LOOKS, I do not get strange looks from the Filipinos.
I can only see the expression on their faces change when I am taking pictures from objects (like these mannequins) and not from people. I can see them thinking: “what a weird kano !!”
Filipinos are so used to take pictures only from themselves, family or friends. Even just a small group of Filipinos want to pose for my camera, and holding thumb and index finger in a V-shape; which means “Guapo ako” (I am handsome). Filipinos like to give that sign even on their family pictures. Little strange to me, but I am just an observer and a guest in this country.
