A few weeks ago, while it was raining I spotted this Filipino with his umbrella. He catches my attention immediately because he is wearing clothes in the colors of the Dutch Flag: Red-White-Blue. And not only that, he also has orange hair.
Being Dutch myself, I am a little proud to see this man here in the Philippines. For sure he was not aware of what I was thinking when I took his picture. But he’s smiling……
At Queensday (koninginnedag) in the Netherlands, everybody is wearing something orange which is the color of our Royal family.

White red and blue are also the colors of the Philippine flag.
If he falls, oke… But should he fall on his left side or right side ? And where the orange fits in? Sure not in the French or Filipino flag.
I’m proud to say that an orange accent to the red-white-blue is Dutch.
